The general consensus on "The Amazing Spiderman" seems to be that it was a decently fun movie that was completely and totally unnecessary. Like, Andrew Garfield buying a size large shirt unnecessary.

The "Honest Trailer" appropriately shit on the overall need for this movie in this trailer, as well as a few of the other superhero movie conventions that we always take for granted (isn't it always so easy to break into a supersecret lab?). Stay tuned for the end, when the announcer says "Rob Schneider is a carrot" in his movie theater voice. Points for anyone who got that without clicking the link.
