Reading a book does not appear to be worth it. At all. 

It's getting tougher and tougher for horror movies to break the plane of "holy shit," but this does a nice job of that. "Evil Dead" (a remake of the 80's original), set to be released this April, stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas and Lou Taylor Pucci.
