So this is a pretty cool idea: We've known for a few months now that Netflix is trying to get into the content-generating game. It will air the fourth season of "Arrested Development" on the website, and there have been rumblings that it eventually wants to be seen as essentially an online version of HBO.

"House of Cards," though represents that ambition. With a $100 million budget and Kevin Spacey starring as a ruthless politician trying to get the presidency, the show looks to be a sort of "Homeland" thriller meets "The West Wing" behind-the-scenes look at Washington. Not a bad combo. But, the best part? If it grabs you in, you don't have to wait each week for a new installment. Every episode will be uploaded at the same damn time. I like living in the future, don't you?
