The film, which is based off Birbiglia's one-man off-Broadway show--and also inspired a comedy album of the same name--is the popular comic's directorial debut. 

The trailer is certainly promising, and the movie looks like a less ambitious version of Judd Apatows "Funny People." Less ambitious meaning that its not trying to do to much, meaning that its doing just the right amount, meaning that it looks like a very solid movie with a very compelling storyline. Definitely has me sold. 

Albeit a limited release, "Sleepwalk with Me" is slated for an August 24th release.
