This not only looks really dope, but it looks like it's arguing for something greater. Economic hardship, failings of post-industrial America, class wars--all of it could be generally sniffed back to the drug trade, and this documentary seems to hit every last corner.
Featuring the likes of 50 Cent, Drug Kingpin "Freeway" Rick Ross, David Simon (creator of "The Wire") and Eminem, this cruelly ambitious take on the business behind the pills and powder--for some, the lone way to salvage aspirations of living out the American Dream--is something that's sure to pack some serious HEAT.
All in all, a chilling preview of documentary at it's finest--telling us the way things are whether we want to hear it or not, while still managing to be compelling. The truth is sometimes painful, but so is failure.
