For the premiere of its TWENTY FOURTH season, the Simpsons have decided to take a crack at the easily mockable United States Government. Despite the fact that Homey should be in a nursing home just about now, it's pretty spot on. 

In usual Simpsons fashion, the preview craftily satarizes the archetype of Homer as the American's American, poking fun at the voter ID law, the Presidential candidates, and the potential outcomes of their hopeful policies. Even if you've become too cool for the Simpsons, this is a solid watch.
