Two of the greatest shows ever—"The Sopranos" and "Seinfeld"—got that Internet remix this weekend, and I'm pleasantly surprised at the results. The above compilation—featuring Tony, Carmella, and Uncle Junior laughing it up—was put together by Matin Comedy, who, actually, had a lot of material to work with. "The Sopranos" was always best when it coupled its gangster conventions with dark, dark comedy, and if you take that time Junior attempted to murder someone with a pie and couple it with bouncy, sitcom music, you get a more-than-convincing cut of "The Sopranos" as a "Growing Pains" clone. (Now, take footage of Paulie and Chris remake it into a buddy comedy. "Russians? They're not all bad." "How bout the Cuban missile crisis?" "I thought that was just a movie!")
Then, there's this: Slow Seinfeld. "Slowfeld." It's ridiculously dumb. But try not to laugh when you hear that familiar Jerry whine slowed down to "drunk-in-the-corner-booth" levels.
