This looks damn promising. A "Why didn't we think of that" idea—reshooting "Girls" as a tale of New York City-living, beer pong-playing, "Game of Thrones"-watching guys navigating their own quarter-century crises—"Bros" is an upcoming web series that we're looking forward to seeing more of over the next month. The very funny trailer (above) gives an indicator on what the series will be like: Its highlight is unquestionably the riff off that famous "Girls" dinner scene featuring Hannah and her now-financially withholding parents, which, in the "Bros" world, is now a dude explaining to his parents how he works several jobs, including "working out" and "being a top 1,000 player in Call of Duty."

Series creator Anthony DiMieri told me over Twitter that the show can best be described as an attempt at seeing how bros would (and do) operate in the "Girls" universe. And, with the first episode entitled "Williamsburg," we should see right off the bat how bros and hipsters tend to clash in Brooklyn.

Episode one should be up in two to three weeks, DiMieri said. More episodes will follow as frequently as they can afford to film them.
