What to watch tonight: ‘Hard Knocks’ season premiere

In 2009, HBO won two sports Emmy awards for Hard Knocks, an annual look into NFL training camps. That year, the show focused on the Cincinnati Bengals, a dysfunctional group coming off a dreadful 2008 season. Things are different this time around for the Bengals. There’s no Chad Ochocinco, there’s no Carson Palmer, there’s no ugly arrests in the offseason. Sure, Marvin Lewis is still the coach but this isn’t the same group from 2009.

The five episode series begins tonight at 10pm and will run until September 3rd. I highly suggest watching it. It’s the best, most honest reality show on television.
