Showtime is allowing people to watch the full season premiere of Dexter online for free, making the show officially the equivalent of crack. There are plenty of addicted fans already, but Showtime is making one last push to boost subscriptions with this being the last season of Dexter. It makes sense. While Showtime has a solid stable of original series – Homeland, Shameless, House of Lies, Californication – Dexter is the top dog. The network wants to lure people in for once last killing spree, sell a billion copies of the first seven seasons, then let Ray Donovan take the reins.
