Shame no network has actually bought the show yet. Click, it’s got Eliza Dushku in her bathing suit. Britain’s other most famous spy Simon Templar is getting another go-round courtesy of director Simon West (Con Air) – the rights holders have made a test pilot for a new TV series of The Saint. The original show ran on the BBC from 1962 to 1969 and starred Roger Moore before he was Bond. There was a Val Kilmer-starring movie reboot that we won’t talk about, but this new show actually looks pretty hot. Adam Rayner plays a modernized Templar and Eliza Dushku is Patricia Holmes, his top lady. Moore is even producing the new show, so let’s hope some network shells out the cash for it.
