Stan Lee has created some of the most iconic figure in fiction. That was a long time ago.
At Comic-Con yesterday, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele revealed a sketche from the fourth season of Key and Peele. It premieres on September 24th on Comedy Central.
It’s no coincidence that the first sketch involves ‘Stan Lee’ pitching new comic character ideas to Marvel. It’s also no coincidence all of Stan’s characters, just like those from decades past, are based on real life people and issues. The person is Stan and his issue is being old.
I feel like this scenario plays out at Marvel at least once a week but the only fictional part is that Stan’s arrival isn’t a big deal because he never leaves. Ever.
