Saturday Night Live had Charlize Theron as a host this week and they did a special Mother’s Day skit. The concept was a game show called “Come Do A Game Show With Your Mom, It’ll Be Fun, Yes It Will,” where three contestants, sons and daughters of the game show host Joanne Pendak, answered questions about their beloved mother. The prizes were priceless, and included mom stop sending Angie’s List recommendations, the one son asked for ear gauges and the best of all, the mom would have to delete her Facebook. The bit perfectly summarized the typical mom with neighborhood gossip, awful, time-wasting emails that your mom sends you, and her weird friends. Although this is a special Mother’s Day game show there is a dad round, and the question was, “How ya doin’? Ya doin’ good?” To which the correct answer was “Uhh yeah.” And dad exits with “Alright kids, here’s you’re mother.” I so want to play this game to win and have my mom delete her Facebook.
