John Oliver has been excellent filling in for John Stewart thus far, which is a testament to his likability and the excellent Daily Show writers. Last night they introduced a new segment titled, “Wait a second, we can just ignore her.” It was a bit about Sarah Palin and the latest drivel that has been spewing forth from what she purports is a brain. It’s a brilliantly obvious piece suggesting that if we don’t pay any attention to Sarah Palin, she’ll just go away. That puts her next to the Westboro Baptist Church in terms of people we’ve given up on stopping through rational discourse.
