Jimmy Kimmel auctioning off ‘Suit Of The Loom’ and donating money to young boy fighting cancer

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy unveiled his “Suit of the Loom”, a suit made entirely of Rainbow Loom projects sent into his show by kids across the country.

What’s Rainbow Loom, you ask, because you’re over the age of ten. Rainbow Loom is the silly bands, slap bracelets, friendship bracelets of this generation. Yeah, stuff never goes away, it just gets recycled.

A couple months ago, Kimmel noticed how popular the bands were so he gave the audience a homework assignment. I’ll let the YouTube description explain the story because I’m a little emotional right now.

“Jimmy noticed that a lot of kids are really into Rainbow Loom, so he asked parents to have their children loom something for him. We weaved all of their creations together to make a “Suit Of The Loom” for Jimmy to wear on the show. So many kids participated in this, but we got a very special video from the students at Arroyo Elementary School in Tustin, California. They have been working to make the longest Rainbow Loom chain in the world, and they’re holding a Loom-A-Thon to create awareness for “The Max Love Project” which helps kids fight cancer – all in honor of their seven year old classmate Max who is battling cancer himself. The kids told Jimmy that he had to meet “Super Max” and after seeing this inspiring video Jimmy agreed with them and brought Max onto the show.”

“Super Max” made an appearance on Kimmel’s show last night. Another special guest also joined the show.

First therapy dogs, now “Super Max”, I don’t know if I can take all these emotions!

If you want to bid on the suit, check out the eBay auction going on now. If you want to donate to The Max Love Project, but don’t really need a suit of rubber, donate here.
