Game of Thrones is on HBO for a good reason. Beyond the obvious sex and violence, there are 126 instances of “strong language.” Slacktory made a supercut of all the swearing, and it’s gloriously NSFW. Anything you’d describe with a letter followed by “bomb” appears multiple times. Forget about the boobs for a moment, can you imagine a show trying to get away with that much verbal vitriol on cable? No chance. All you’d be left with is History Channel’s Vikings. That’s a damn good show, but I can’t help but think about how much better it would be on HBO or Starz.
