Colbert visits his new job, takes selfie with Letterman on ‘Late Show’

Few people get to visit their new place of employment a couple months early but replacing a TV legend is exactly taking a new gig at the Home Depot.

Stephen Colbert made an appearance on The Late Show last night, his first since the announcement that he’ll take over for host David Letterman in 2015.

“You look right at home,” Letterman said to the Comedy Central star after the crowd went nuts upon his arrival on stage.

Colbert and Letterman chatted about the future, and even gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come, by bringing his own Top Ten list to the show. Letterman seemed to enjoy the entire event. This transition will probably go much smoother than Fallon replacing Leno, who during interview said with his facial expression he didn’t want to leave late night.

Colbert and Letterman even took a Late Show selfie.
