Kanye West had already pissed off fans at the Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival by showing up late (again), but then after a VERY bizarre and angry rant the crowd eventually turned on him completely and started booing his ass.
Going on as the final act, Kanye interrupted his performance by talking about his greatness, comparing himself to Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, William Shakespeare and others, screaming, “I am the number one muthaf–-in’ rock star on the planet!”
This led to “Where the press at? This is real rock ‘n’ roll if you ever grew up on real music. The reason why you write that shit about music. I’m from the south side of Chicago. I dreamed of R Kelly giving me a deal.” Check it out. It’s pretty amazing.

You know what I think? I think maybe Kanye was just upset that more of the Tennessee audience was interested in this rather than watching him perform. I know that’s where my interest would lie….
