All of the news leading up to the American Music Awards (AMAs) primarily consisted of ABC’s fear of Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea’s performance of the song “Booty.” The network was afraid that in spite of their best efforts to ask them duo to censor themselves — because MY GOD WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE CHILDREN?!? — that the performance would still wind up looking like their ass-filled music video.
