Eminem celebrated Mother’s Day by releasing a new single, “Headlights,” with an accompanying music video based on his relationship with his mom that’ll make you think someone’s cutting onions up in here.
The video, directed by Spike Lee, shows what appears to be many scenes from Eminem’s childhood, filmed through the eyes of his mom Debbie Mathers. The emotional scenes are then capped off with Eminem forgiving his mom in a letter and giving her a hug.
Says, Em, “You’re still beautiful to me, ’cause you’re my mom.” Onions…yes, someone’s definitely cutting onions in here.
