Eddie Vedder And Chris Cornell Came Together To Sing ‘Hunger Strike’ This Weekend And Oh No I Just Ruined My Pants

Neil Young’s 2014 Bridge School Benefit was this past weekend. Along with Neil Young, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, the show featured the likes of Florence + The Machine, Tom Jones, Band of Horses and others. During Pearl Jam’s eight song set, they called Soundgarden frontman, Chris Cornell, out to the stage to sing “Hunger Strike.” For a 90s kid, and a fan of both bands, the nostalgia factor on this one is 11 out 10, even though both kind of sounded like they chain-smoked just shy of 4000 cigarettes the night before.
