Guillermo Del Toro’s giant robots fighting monsters flick is almost here. So Pacific Rim had its first test screening in Los Angeles over the weekend and the lucky schmucks who were there seem to be saying that it’s absolutely awesome. No less of an authority than Looper‘s Rian Johnson tweeted that it’ll make you “pee your pants with joy.” That’s a pretty good recommendation to me, and other viewers have nothing but good stuff to say about the effects and the cast, which includes Idris Elba and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia‘s Charlie Day.
