‘The Last Exorcism 2’ trailer adds insult to injury

Is this like Final Fantasy where the word “last” means nothing? I liked the first Last Exorcism movie just fine. Sure, it jumped aboard the obnoxious found footage horror train, but it had a lot of clever and scary moments. The sequel drops the found footage theme inexplicably, which might be a strike against it, but could still be good. Here’s the first trailer for The Last Exorcism 2, which picks up right after the first film left off with Nell, the possessed protagonist of the last film, wandering amnesiac out of the woods. Of course, demons don’t let go so easily and before long Abalam is back to make her life a living Hell. The Last Exorcism 2 opens on March 1.
