Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are teaming up again for a movie about going on a bar crawl as adults. As The World’s End trailer shows though, it’s not as simple as it sounds. Will this be the end for the Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz stars?
I still go on at least one pub crawl every year, and if aliens try to crash my party I’m going to be pissed. Just because we’re grown men doesn’t mean we don’t like to get annihilated in relative peace. I might make an exception for a little chaos if it involves Rosamund Pike.
The World’s End is the final installment in the “Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy.” Damn British “u.” While none of the films are technically related, there are clear parallels between Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End. The most obvious is the Cornetto ice cream for which the trilogy is named, and the most important of which is the super-team of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and director Edgar Wright.
