‘Noah’ screening cancelled because theater floods

Oh, irony. You delicious bastard.

Moviegoers at the Vue Cinema in Exeter, England were unable to watch the first screening of the biblical epic Noah last Friday. The theater flooded, but it wasn’t rains from the heavens that stopped the movie, it was water from a busted ice machine.

“We can confirm that there was flooding at Vue Exeter on Friday 4th April” explained the theater website. “We are open for business as usual and are working with engineers to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.”

At the moment the flood was announced, half the audience was skeptical, while the rest ran for the hills. One man collected two of each candy and built a raft out of his seat cushion.

The entire incident was probably way more exciting than the movie.
