The teasers and secretive marketing campaigns have been great, but the real deal Man of Steel trailer is here. Superman’s origins are nicely wrapped up in this three minute video. It’s tough to tell how much of the movie will be spent on the backstory, but after seeing this, I’m not sure I care.
All signs point to Zack Snynder and Christopher Nolan finally creating the Superman movie we all deserve. Scriptwriter David S. Goyer has said that this will be more a realistic version, to the extent that an almost invincible flying man can be, but it won’t necessarily be dark. It is Superman after all, the campiest superhero of all time. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for June 14th.
