Will Ferrell is the guy who grew up, became wildly successful, and made a ton of money, yet never forgot how vital it is to screw around as much as humanely possible. His press junket interviews are legendary in that regard, and his other stunts—reading the lineups before Cubs and Bulls games; airing Old Milwaukee commercials in Sweden only; crashing talk shows in a golf cart—point him toward being none other than the next Bill Murray.
Ferrell's latest move was to provide security at the Staples Center last night for the Lakers-Suns game. It was a weird game: Kobe went 1-for-8 from the field for four points, while Dwight Howard dropped 19 points and grabbed 18 boards to lead them to the win. Of course, Ferrell standing stonefaced courtside, wearing a red jacket and the nametag "Ted Vagina," didn't make thing less weirder.
He also tossed Shaq at one point. Here's the pic, via Orange County Register reporter Kevin Ding:

And since it was in L.A. after all, there is video.
Legend.
