Will Ferrell And Kristen Wiig Secretly Made A Lifetime Movie Called ‘A Deadly Adoption,’ And Mom And I Are Both Happy

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Lifetime entering the TV movie business, or in other words, 25 years of my mom changing the channel when the game’s on.

Will Ferrell, a self-proclaimed Lifetime movie lover, decided he wanted to extend his already diverse resume by getting in on the hyper-dramatic suspense films that Lifetime consistently churns out.

He has teamed up with Kristen Wiig to film a Lifetime movie called ‘A Deadly Adoption,’ that will be released early this summer, as indicated by The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is a dramatic thriller about a successful couple who give shelter and care for a pregnant  woman, played by former 90210 actress Jessica Lownes, with the intentions of adopting Jessica’s unborn child. Obviously, shit hits the fan and I cannot wait.

The two-hour film is being produced by Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions and is described as a campy, fun, contemporary wink at the genre. The movie was adopted (no pun intended) from a script from Adam Steele’s ‘The Spoils of Babylon.’

You best believe that me and mom will be parked in front of the TV with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s for this cinematic event. Mom, press pause though, I got to step out real quick to get as high as my lungs will allow me to.
