‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ Is Coming Back

Once upon a time, we all watched this, right? Sure it was corny as hell, and yeah, Wayne Brady's barbershop quartet singing got old, but the sheer number of "Whose Line" ABC Family reruns means that a lot of people must have been watching.

Well, it's coming back. Yesterday, Ryan Stiles (the tall one) gave an interview to the Wenatchee World that included this sentence: "The Warner Bros. channel plans to revive the show in April with a new host, comedian Aisha Tyler, and the old Whose Line cast.” And this morning, Colin Mochrie (the short bald one) published this sly Tweet: "Oh, by the way, Whose Line is coming back. More details later."

Couple of weird things to this. For one, the Warner Bros. channel doesn't exist. So that's confusing. For another, are they going to be able to break Wayne Brady out of the PCP-smoking, cop-killing circle of despair he's been living in for the last 10 years? He's got to be a fugitive of the law by now.

Whatever the case, Aisha Tyler (LANNNNA!) should be a great host. Her podcast is one of the best around, and she's a little easier on the eyes than Drew Carey. I'll tune in.
