Second: A new playable Halo is coming next year. Look at that smoke. Pretty.

Other games announced include a sword-and-sandles epic called Ryse: Son of Rome, a jetpack/mech game called Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and an exclusive DLC for Battlefield 4 called “Second Assault.”

Finally, I thought these two pieces of news were kind of cool: The idiotic Microsoft Points have been replaced by an iTunes-esque mode of currency, and Microsoft will be offering free games to Xbox Live subscribers from now 'till November. First releases include Fable III, Halo 3, and Assassin's Creed II.
