Tracy Morgan’s Rep Just Gave a Positive Update on Morgan’s Condition

Tracy Morgan has been in the hospital since early Saturday morning, after a limo he was riding back from a show in was hit by a tractor trailer.

The actor/comedian was listed in critical condition, but details were scarce. Just now, his representative released a statement covering the injuries suffered by Morgan. They are massive, but none appear to be life-threatening.

“While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign,” said rep Lewis Kay in a Sunday statement. “He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks. His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

The driver, Kevin Roper, was charged in the death of one of the passengers in the car, comedian James McNair. He also faces four other counts of assault by auto.
