Deposed ‘Top Gear’ Host Jeremy Clarkson And His Co-Presenters Had Some CRAZY Backstage Demands

Talk about your divas, Jeremy Clarkson and his co-presenters on Top Gear had some backstage demands that would even make Kanye West blush. (Okay, probably not, but they’re still pretty crazy.)

Now we’ve seen some weird riders for stars before, Katy Perry and Britney Spears immediately come to mind, but Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May might have had the most lengthy list for a green room that we’ve ever seen.

According to the Daily Mail, they needed about 120 items in their green room to do their jobs on Top Gear. Here are just some of their demands…

– over 20 bottles of wine

– two dozen bottles of Peroni beer, Bombay Sapphire gin plus tonic, ice and lemon, all chilled in a fridge or cooler cabinet with at least four shelves

– drinks must be served on linen covered tables

– a sofa must be provided with “enough room to seat six people, one of whom is 6ft 3in and likes to lie down”

– a Nespresso coffee machine with a milk frothing gadget

– Dove deodorant

– hair wax

– “nice” rubbish bins

– a coat stand (not a rail)

– rooms must be fitted with a rug if there are no carpets
