It’s been 15 years since we saw Tom Hanks have his heart broken in Cast Away when his little buddy Wilson was lost to the sea.
But now the story finally has a happy ending because at Madison Square Garden during the New York Rangers game Thursday night the camera panned to Tom Hanks (with the subtitle “Actor”) as someone tossed him a volleyball and OH MY GOD it’s Wilson! Hanks himself even seemed a little taken aback when he first glimpsed Wilson’s handprint face, but then played along because, well, he’s freaking awesome.
