This new HBO show Ballers starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is going to have to be pretty epic to live up to all the hype we’ve built up in our minds about it. The killer promos and photos for the show paint it as being potentially one of the coolest shows since Entourage.
In this latest clip we get to see that not only does The Rock have a kickass pad he even has his own SportsCenter set in his freaking basement. Watch as he takes Clay Matthews and Scott Van Pelt down to the set to see if Matthews might have a career as a sports anchor post-football.
(Spoiler: He doesn’t. He really doesn’t. Acting however? He is pretty good at that.)
The 10-episode first season of Ballers begins this Sunday at 10PM ET on HBO. Can’t wait.
