Wa-hoo! FX announced today that two of its most-loved shows will be returning perhaps earlier than expected.

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "The League" return October 11, and will occupy the 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. slots, respectively. "It's Always Sunny" returns for its eighth season and "The League" will air its fourth season. Also returning soon on FX:

• "Sons of Anarchy": September 11 at 10 p.m
• "Ultimate Fighter Fridays": September 14 at 9 p.m.
• "BrandX with Russell Brand": October 11 at 11 p.m.
• "American Horror Story": October 17 at 10 p.m.
