‘The Dictator’ and ‘Rock of Ages’ Trailers Have Us Excited for 2012’s Movie Offerings

Must-see trailers for two must-see 2012 movies have just dropped and you're going to want to see them ASAP. First up is "The Dictator," the latest comedy from Sacha Baron Cohen. He plays, you guessed it, a Qadaffi-like Arab dictator who comes to America, where he's told (by John C. Reilly) to visit the Empire State Building before he "or one of his cousins takes it down." This is sure to offend everyone as the best satires always do. The second flick is "Rock of Ages," which is the first Broadway musical-turned-movie that you're going to want to see on opening night. All the music is classic 1980s rock hits from the likes of Journey, Poison, Def Leopard, Poison, and Twisted Sister, and it stars Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Julianne Hough, Malin Akerman, Paul Giammati, Bryan Cranston, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Will Forte, and yes, Tom Cruise as the legendary rocker Stacee Jaxx. There are people (like SI's Jimmy Traina) who have seen the Broadway show multiple times, it's that good. Trailers below.
