If there is a point to all the barbs, it's this: We turn to CNN when something major and violent has happened. We just do. You, CNN, have a responsibility then to report things correctly. When you jump on everything like a puppy, literally pointing out that you “hear dogs barking” and “smell smoke,” which must indicate something “big” has happened, then you freak us out and cause me to Tweet shit like this. Don't cause us to freak out any more than we already are by reporting things that aren't there. You're not helping.
