For whatever reason Hollywood cannot fathom that people would want to watch a surfing movie without over the top slang and partying.
As we can see in this supercut of the best surfing movies to pop out of Tinsel Town, Hollywood might be the biggest perpetrator of surfing stereotypes around. But did that stop this surfing supercut from immensely entertaining? Hell no.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that Hollywood thinks surfers don’t actually do a whole lot of surfing. Instead, it appears as if they stand around all day and discuss surfing. FURTHERMORE, there was a distinct lack of Surf Ninjas in this supercut…Rob Schneider deserves his credit dammit!
