Everything You Need To Know About ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Panel From Comic-Con Including Tremendous Behind-The-Scenes Video

The amazing Star Wars panel was the sole reason that so much geek jizz was spurted into sweaty Stormtrooper costumes on Friday at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. J.J. Abrams shared this fantastic behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming sci-fi fantasy film that doesn’t come out in theaters until December 18, 2015, but is already primed to be the most successful movie of all-time. You can see that Abrams and his team did not solely rely on special effects and had placed a lot of time and money into practical effects.

“I watched Star Wars with my parents too. It meant as much to me as it means to you,” Abrams told a fan. “Because we love it and care about it so much, our job is to not be blinded by that. Being a fan is not enough. When you are directing a scene on the Millennium Falcon, it doesn’t make the scene good. It’s bitchin’ that it’s on the Millennium Falcon. But that doesn’t make it automatically good.”

Abrams told fanatics that a rough cut of the film is complete and that they’re currently editing it.

The new stars of The Force Awakens including John Boyega who is Finn, Daisy Ridley as Rey and Oscar Isaac who plays Poe Dameron were in the building.
