This SNL Spoof ‘Fight Of The Century’ Was Probably More Entertaining Than The Actual Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao Match

SNL knew that viewership was going to be remarkably down for their show on Saturday night because it was airing at the same time as the “Fight of the Century.” So they devilishly pirated a feed of the fight and simply broadcast the Floyd Mayweather Vs. Manny Pazquiao fight.

In the cold open, they “tapped into the feed” and broadcast an illegal stream of the fight. However there was some glitches. The network did admit that some visuals might be a tad bit off:

“Because this is a pirated broadcast of the fight, some of the visuals may appear distorted. For example, Floyd Mayweather may appear slightly taller, while Manny Pacquiao may appear to be a white woman with a fake goatee and a t-shirt.”

They also showed some of the celebrities at the event such as Mark Wahlberg, P. Diddy and Justin Bieber, of course played by Kate McKinnon. Floyd Mayweather (Jay Pharoah) and the ref (Kenan Thompson) actually end up leaving the sketch to go watch the actual fight in Wiz Khalifa’s dressing room and leave Aidy Bryant, err Manny Pacquiao to herself

Looks like you could have saved yourself $100 and just watched it on NBC. Plus, this fight was way more entertaining than the actual fight.
