Russell Brand Blasts Ex-Wife Katy Perry’s Lifestyle As ‘Everything He Detests’ In Controversial Documentary

Russell Brand threw some major shade at his ex-wife Katy Perry in his new documentary titled Brand: A Second Coming.

The 40-year-old British comedian, who was only married to Perry for 14 months back in 2010-11, revealed in his documentary that he found the pop star’s lifestyle ‘vapid, vacuous and plastic.’

“I’m associated with the very thing I detest: vapid, vacuous, plastic, constructed, mindless celebrity. That’s the very sea we’re swimming in.”

Can’t say that we didn’t expect these big words from Brand, who loves to show off just how smart he is. And can’t say we didn’t expect him to be kind of a dick considering he told her he wanted a divorce via text message, told his friend he didn’t think the marriage would last citing “at some point, to be happy, I’m going to have to walk away,” and oh ya, he admitted in a 2013 stand-up set that he’d think of ‘anyone else’ during sex with Perry. Maybe even you, bro. Maybe even you.

Perry is said to be feeling very upset and “embarrassed” by the documentary, which director Ondi Timoner said Russell didn’t actually approve of himself.

No shit. Jesus, bro–did she fuck your dad or something?

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
