Ultimate Bro Robert Downey, Jr. Drops In Unannounced For Surprise Visit To Air Force Base

Robert Downey, Jr. just continues to amaze as yesterday he showed up at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base completely unannounced to surprise military personnel there with a surprise screening of his new film “The Judge.”

Downey shared a few pics on his Facebook page (seen below) which he captioned, “Had a blast w the airmen and airwomen at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Such an honor.”

According to the Dayton Daily News, Downey said he wanted to visit the base because he has always been drawn to all things military.

“If this is the heart of America, then Wright-Patt is kind of like momma bear’s above ground cave,” he said. “They’re keeping us safe. They’re allowing us to have the sort of freedoms and lifestyle that we can occasionally take for granted being in a Democratic nation.

“For me, it’s just a way of reminding myself that there are people out there who put their lives on the line so I can go out and make movies … their sacrifice allows us to have that freedom,” Downey said.

No need for photobombs from RDJ in these photos. So awesome…

Is it any wonder people treat this man like he’s freaking Elvis? What a boss.
