You may know Nick Kroll from his great depiction as everyone's favorite wolfpack asshole on The League, or from his recently launched and very successful Comedy Central show. What you may not know is that just like most people that are now famous for being funny, he was once not at all funny. And what you definitely don't know is that he once asked THE Bill Murray to watch him perform, only to be haunted by a dissatisfied Bill Murray for the rest of forever.
The video below is a pretty cool roundtable discussion from The Hollywood Reporter with Kroll, Anthony Jeselnik, Kristen Schaal, Rob Delaney, and SNL's Cicily Strong. Some really great stuff throughout the whole thing (Jeselnik's failure story I found particularly compelling, given the brash nature of his stuff), but due to paying attention on the internet, Kroll's little tale is the very first thing.
