At a certain point, stories about the soul-crushing boringness of press junket interviews will overshadow actual information that comes out of press junket interviews. Remember the viral Mila Kunis conversation with BBC Radio's Chris Stark? You think that's happening if Kunis isn't bored to tears? How about a giggly Paul Rudd and Jason Segel losing it over the word "sandwiches" while touring for I Love You, Man? Everyone said they were stoned—but c'mon, that conversation was what happens at 4 a.m. after you've been awake for an extended period of time and find EVERYTHING funny. These interviews are so terrible that they made Jesse Eisenberg (!) look like a dick.
So the curse of the press junket also affected poor Morgan Freeman, a man who decided to take a nap recently while his buddy Michael Caine discussed their new movie Now You See Me. To be fair, the movie does sound kind of crappy. And the resulting video is way better than any serious conversation about "what it's like to work with Louis Leterrier."
