You have to be a Grinch with a heart three sizes too small if you didn't like this week's holiday edition of Saturday Night Live hosted by Martin Short. It had everything except a Stefon appearance: Kenan Thompson brought Samuel L. Jackson out for a special holiday episode of "What Up with That?" Martin Short did one hell of a Larry David impression. Seth Meyers introduced one of my favorite new characters for Weekend Update, Cecily Strong's "Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party." Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Tom Hanks, Carrie Brownstein, Kristen Wiig, and Alec Baldwin all made guest appearances. And Paul McCartney sang "Wonderful Christmas Time" with the New York Children's Choir. What's not to love?
