Rapper Lil Wayne was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital last night after suffering a seizure and placed in an induced coma, according to a report from TMZ.

The website had Weezy in “critical condition,” but a tweet appearing on his timeline seems to suggest that the situation wasn’t all that dire.

Mack Maine, president of Young Money, had tweeted that the superstar was "alive and well" and bashed TMZ for their reports -- but later removed a handful of tweets. Requests for comment from the label went answered.

It’s the second time this week the rapper has been hospitalized.
