In case you missed it the Academy Award nominations came out this morning and while “Dick Poop” got his well-deserved nod for some reason The Lego Movie was nowhere to be found in the Best Animated Feature Film category.

This, rightfully so in my opinion, incensed several in the Twitterverse.

However, the one person who actually had a right to be upset, Philip Lord, one of directors of The Lego Movie, didn’t seem too fazed. In fact, he came up with his own solution to the snub.

I’m guessing that the $468 million that The Lego Movie made at the box office worldwide reminded him that, despite being overlooked, everything is still pretty damn awesome.
