We’re going to assume Kristi Capel didn’t know what jigaboo meant before she used it to describe Lady Gaga’s music early this morning. Because no one in their right mind would choose that word in that situation, especially with an African-American co-anchor seated a few feet away.
Either way, she’d probably accept a mulligan if offered.
UPDATE: It appears Capel had no idea what the word meant or THAT IT WAS EVEN A WORD!
