Key And Peele’s New Sketch Explaining Why Outkast Has Dropped Off The Map Is GOLD

If you’ve never stopped to wonder why hip-hops once most accomplished rap duo has more or less fallen off them map in recent years, you’re not alone. I’ve completely stopped expecting things from Andre 3000 and Big Boi after they took a six year hiatus from each other in the early 2000s and were reportedly having trouble getting along when they reunited for their 20th Anniversary Festival Tour in 2014.

Sources inside the hip hop duos camp have reinforced this sentiment to Dish Nation:

“Andre and Big Boi may share a stage, but trust me – they can’t stand each other. They physically stand so far apart from each other when they’re performing that it’s become a joke that they’re two solo acts on stage. Andre has slammed Big Boi saying he was always high and late for rehearsals and Big Boi says Andre’s ego is out of control. Their animosity towards each other is why people think their Coachella reunion was such a disaster.”

Welp, leave it to Key and Peele to hilariously depict the ongoing feud between the Dope Boyz by portraying Andre 3000 as a whimsical lunatic who looks more like Peter Pan than a legendary hip hop artist.

I’d say they hit the nail on the head.
