One good rule of thumb at a dinner party is to try and keep the conversation light. You can talk about television and restaurants you want to try. Stuff like that. It helps when you are meeting new people, helps ensure everyone has themselves an enjoyable time.
What you don’t want to do is talk about is death, destruction and the end of all things. The beheading of your father, and the murder of your brother. And how you don’t know your mother.
Which is why you don’t take Jon Snow to a dinner party. Seth Meyers did though, and the results were beyond brilliant. I loved this sketch so hard.
